More welcoming signs
My Spanish is a bit rusty, but here is an attempt at a translation.
Hello Companions,
We are a group which aids people traveling through this area. Take everything you need without fear. The food is in the yellow tent. Medical aid is in the white tent. We wish you all the best. Happy travels.
Flag showing water and medical aid are provided in the camp. Migrants can see it and people have came into the camp, although not during the first week I was there. They are allowed to stay until they feel rested, fed and able to continue on their journey. They cannot hide or stay in the NMD camp indefinitely though. Border Patrol has raided the camp in the past. The protocol is not to answer questions whether or not migrants are in the camp, the standard reply we've been told to say is "I am not obliged to answer that question".
